White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies



Happy Tuesday, have something sweet.

White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

COOOKIES!!!



What you'll need:
  1. Parchment paper
  2. cookie sheet
  3. medium bowl
  4. small bowl
  5. electric mixer
  6. 2 cups flour
  7. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  9. 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  10. 1 cup brown sugar
  11. 1/2 cup sugar
  12. 1 tablespoon vanilla
  13. 1 egg
  14. 1 egg yolk (use the leftover egg white and make a whiskey sour while you bake)
  15. 1 cup white chocolate chips
  16. 6.5 ounce jar macadamia nuts chopped
  17. (optional 1 cup dried cranberries) I used half a cup for half the cookies as a test, they came out pretty damn good
Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°.
  2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In the small bowl mix together the flour, baking soda and salt and set aside.
  4. In the medium bowl mix together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended.
  5. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until creamy. 
  6. Mix in the flour mix until blended.
  7. Stir in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. 
  8. Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the cookie sheet (you can do smaller if you don't like large cookies). 
  9. Bake for 17 to 20 minutes or until the edges are lightly toasted. 
  10. Allow to cool. 
  11. Eat up!
