Tequila Chicken and Mushroom Pasta



Why yes, we will be using Tequila, yes it is Tuesday morning, drink more, judge less!

Tequila Chicken and Mushroom Pasta

Let's mix some shit together and see what happens



What you'll need:
  1. large skillet
  2. medium sauce pan
  3. large bowl
  4. 1 cup chicken broth
  5. 4 tablespoons tequila
  6. 3 tablespoons lime juice 
  7. 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  8. 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  9. 1 lb pasta
  10. 3 tablespoons butter
  11. 5 cloves garlic, diced
  12. 1 medium onion diced
  13. 8 oz can of water chestnuts
  14. 4 oz can shiitake mushrooms
  15. 4 oz can Mushrooms Stems n Pieces
  16. 10.75 oz can, cream of mushroom soup
  17. 1.5 cups milk
Instructions:
  1. In a medium saucepan, mix chicken broth, tequila and lime juice, bring to a rolling boil and set aside.
  2. In large bowl, add soy sauce to the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the skillet, saute the onion, garlic, shiitake mushrooms, mushrooms stems and pieces and water chestnuts in the 3 tablespoons of butter for 5 minutes.
  4. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  5. Add the chicken and soy sauce to skillet, mix.
  6. Add the tequila mix, milk and cream of mushroom soup to the skillet.
  7. Bring to a boil.
  8. Simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
  9. Add the pasta, mix well.
  10. Eat up!


TEQUILA!
If it's in a can and in the cupboard, throw it in, see what happens
Grab the tequila, have a shot, or 2, or 3, while this shit simmers
looks good to me, pasta time
