Chili

Slow cooker recipes rule, throw it all in, deal with it when it's done. |
What
you'll need:
- Slow Cooker
- 2.25 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (chopped)
- 3 jalapeno peppers (chopped)
- 1 packet Hot Chili Seasoning (I use McCormick's)
- 8 ounces Hot Salsa (I use Pace Picante)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 15 ounce can light red kidney beans
- 15 ounce can dark red kidney beans
- Two 14.5 ounce cans of diced tomatoes (I use Hunt's Spicy Red Pepper)
Instructions:
- Set the slow cooker to high.
- Add the ground beef, onion, garlic and jalapenos and heat til beef is lightly browned (about 40 minutes).
- Add Chili Seasoning, Black Pepper and Cayenne pepper and mix.
- Add Salsa, Diced Tomatoes and Kidney Beans.
- Heat on High for 4 hours (or Low for 8 hours)
- Eat up!
