Chili

Sorry for the lack of update on Tuesday and no booze recipe today, instead have some

Chili

Slow cooker recipes rule, throw it all in, deal with it when it's done.

What you'll need:
  1. Slow Cooker
  2. 2.25 lbs ground beef
  3. 1 large onion (chopped)
  4. 3 cloves garlic (chopped)
  5. 3 jalapeno peppers (chopped)
  6. 1 packet Hot Chili Seasoning (I use McCormick's)
  7. 8 ounces Hot Salsa (I use Pace Picante)
  8. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  9. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  10. 15 ounce can light red kidney beans
  11. 15 ounce can dark red kidney beans
  12. Two 14.5 ounce cans of diced tomatoes (I use Hunt's Spicy Red Pepper)

Instructions:
  1. Set the slow cooker to high.
  2. Add the ground beef, onion, garlic and jalapenos and heat til beef is lightly browned (about 40 minutes).
  3. Add Chili Seasoning, Black Pepper and Cayenne pepper and mix.
  4. Add Salsa, Diced Tomatoes and Kidney Beans.
  5. Heat on High for 4 hours (or Low for 8 hours)
  6. Eat up!
mix it up, let brown
brown enough, add spices and mix that up.
everything mixed together, now a 4 hour wait *silently weeps*
and just like that, big ole batch of chili
EXTREME CLOSEUP!

Works well for football season.
