Shredded BBQ Chicken

Happy Thursday, it'll be a twofer day, sometime tonight gets the day 4 of the 31 days of Halloween doodle, til then, enjoy a new recipe.

Shredded BBQ Chicken

Ah the Slow Cooker, back so soon?




What you'll need:
  1. Slow Cooker
  2. 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  3. 18 ounce bottle of barbeque sauce
  4. 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  5. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  6. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  7. Salt
  8. Pepper
  9. Garlic Powder
  10. 1 cup Chicken Broth
Instructions:
  1. Throw the chicken breasts into the slow cooker and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Add 1 cup of Chicken broth.
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours.
  4. Remove Chicken and let cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Drain grease from slow cooker.
  6. Shred Chicken (Take 2 forks insert 1 fork into 1 end of the chicken and hold, insert 2nd fork into chicken near 1st fork and pull away, shredding the chicken, rinse repeat til all the chicken is shredded)
  7. Place the shredded chicken back into the slow cooker
  8. Add 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 cup Italian dressing and the 18 ounce bottle of BBQ sauce.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Cook on high for 2 more hours, mixing occasionally.
  11. Eat up! (Slap that shit on a roll with a slice of cheddar, some horseradish and some red onion)

shredding chicken at midnight is a lengthy bore
all seasoned, 2 more hours, fuck...I want to sleep, oh right, slow cooker, nap time.
And there you have it, as said above, throw it on a roll with a slice of cheddar, some horseradish and red onion, sorry, no photo of the sammich.
