White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

What
you'll need:
- Parchment paper
- cookie sheet
- medium bowl
- small bowl
- electric mixer
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk (use the leftover egg white and make a whiskey sour while you bake)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 6.5 ounce jar macadamia nuts chopped
- (optional 1 cup dried cranberries) I used half a cup for half the cookies as a test, they came out pretty damn good
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°.
- Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In the small bowl mix together the flour, baking soda and salt and set aside.
- In the medium bowl mix together
the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended.
- Beat
in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until creamy.
- Mix in the flour mix until blended.
- Stir in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
- Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the cookie sheet (you can do smaller if you don't like large cookies).
- Bake for 17 to 20 minutes or until the edges are lightly toasted.
- Allow to cool.
- Eat up!
