Cucumber Gin Fizz

Back with a booze recipe, all is now right with the world

Cucumber Gin Fizz 

Back to using up this damn cucumber.

What you'll need: Shaker, Collins glass, jigger, strainer, muddler, toothpick, ice, 3 cucumber slices about 1/4 inch thick and 1 slice about 1/8 inch thick for garnish, 1/2 ounce simple syrup, juice from 1/2 a lime, Seltzer, and of course the 1.5 ounces Gin.

Instructions:

1. Add the 3 thick cucumber slices, simple syrup and lime juice to the shaker.
2. Muddle the Cucumbers.
3. Add ice and 1.5 ounces of gin.
4. Shake the hell out of it.
5. Strain into Collins glass filled with ice.
6. Top with Seltzer.
7. Add thin slice of cucumber to a toothpick and place on top of the glass to garnish.
8. Drink!
