Appletini

Started re-watching Scrubs on Netflix, couldn't pass up J.D's favorite drink. (note, this is normally just vodka and apple pucker, I wanted to try with real apple, will post the alternate recipe at a later date.)

Appletini

"I'll have an appletini, easy on the tini."

What you'll need: Shaker full of ice, Martini glass, jigger, strainer, 1/2 Granny Smith Apple peeled and cut into thin slices, 1 slice Granny smith apple unpeeled for garnish, 1 Lemon, Cinnamon, 1 ounce of Simple Syrup, Blender or Food Processor, and of course the Vodka.

Instructions:

1. Add the apple slices, juice from lemon, simple syrup and 1 1/2 ounces of Vodka to Blender or Food Processor and blend til smooth .
2. Pour into a shaker filled with ice and shake the hell out of it.
3. Strain into martini glass.
4. Add a small pinch of cinnamon across the top.
5. Add slice of apple for garnish
6. Drink!
