Pumpkin Cookies


Have another double update for the day. Enjoy.

Pumpkin Cookies

Bring on the cooooookies!




What you'll need for Cookies:
  1. Small Bowl
  2. Medium Bowl
  3. Cookie Sheet
  4. 2.5 Cups Flower
  5. 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  6. 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  7. 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
  8. 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  9. 1/2 Teaspoon Cloves
  10. 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  11. 1/2 Cup Butter, softened
  12. 1.5 Cups of Sugar
  13. 1 Cup Pumpkin
  14. 1 Egg
  15. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
What you'll need for Icing:
  1. 2 Bowls (If you only intend on making 1 color icing just combine all these into 1 bowl instead of 2)
  2. 2 Cups Confectioners' Sugar, 1 Cup per Bowl
  3. 3 Tablespoons Milk (1.5 Tablespoons per Bowl)
  4. 1 Tablespoon Melted Butter (.5 Tablespoons per Bowl)
  5. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla (.5 Teaspoons per Bowl)
  6. 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon (.5 Teaspoons per Bowl)
  7. 6 Dashes Barrel Aged Whiskey Bitters (3 Dashes per Bowl)
  8. Green, Red and Yellow Food Coloring (4 drops Green in 1 Bowl, 2 Drops Red and 2 Drops Yellow in the other Bowl to make Orange)

Instructions:
Part 1 (Pumpkin Cookies)

  1. Preheat Oven to 350°.
  2. In a Small Bowl mix Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves and Salt.
  3. In a Medium Bowl Cream the Butter and Sugar.
  4. Add the Pumpkin, Egg and Vanilla to the mix.
  5. Mix until Creamy.
  6. Add the Flour mixture and combine.
  7. Drop 1 Tablespoon at a time onto the Cookie Sheet.
  8. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
  9. Remove and allow to cool.

    Part 2 (Icing)
    1. Split the ingredients as instructed above for the icing between 2 bowls and mix.
    2. Lightly drizzle over cooled cookies.
    3. EAT UP! (These taste better after they've sat for about a day but are still good right away)

    Ok, cool those bitches, go make the icing

    You don't have to split, I wanted multi colors.

    Ah, there we go.

    I had a little extra so I doubled up the colors on each cookie.

    Bam! Eat Up.
